Wind shear gloves - Wind shear gloves protect your hands from ice cold, bone chilling weather. It has thin neoprene palms for easy grip and is designed as a glove mitten to protect your hands from harsh weather.

Glacier gloves - Glacier gloves are rugged and wind proof. They can be extended up your arm and provide extraordinary warmth. They have a stretchable, waterproof neoprene palm and breathable fleece back.

Sun gloves - Sun gloves are almost similar to ½ finger gloves, only, they cover the wrist part and do not extend to any part of your fingers. They are best used to protect your palm from blisters and cuts.

Wool gloves - For fishermen who just want to warm up their hands while fishing, wool gloves are also available. They can extend from the tips of your fingers all the way down to your wrist or arm part. They are not waterproof, but they do provide a great deal of warmth to your hands.

Fishing can be fun. While most people go fishing for fun, others do this as their primary means of living. Either way, it is still best to keep yourself protected from the harmful effects of your surroundings and the fish you are trying to catch.

Fishing gloves are not just decorative accessories that you use when fishing. They have an important role in protecting your hands and skin. Choose the best type of glove to suit your style of fishing and you may even need to consider those that are hypoallergenic. Sensitive skin can react with the salt water and the fabric of the gloves.
